The estate service charge is calculated using a complex Excel model, taking into consideration size of each property, what estate-wide annual costs there are, as well as specific costs related to individual areas of the estate.

Estate-wide costs include things like street lighting, fire equipment and management company administrative costs.

Specific area / building costs relate to things like lifts, cleaning, communal garden areas and bin store maintenance.
