Estate overview
Sunningdale Park is a historic country estate located in Berkshire, UK, covering some 79 acres intotal. The majority of the estate sits within the curtilage of a Grade II listed building, park and gardens. Security is currently maintained in the park by on-site patrols and CCTV.
Park ownership
Sunningdale Park is an entirely privately owned residential and parkland estate, however it is owned and managed by 3 separate entities. In total, the park has a mix of 200 freehold and leasehold properties, split into 2 different management companies.
The majority of properties (166) are part of what's simply known as the Sunningdale Park Estate. Access to this part of the estate is entirely private and is signposted as such.
Around 40 properties are within the 'Audley Village', which is a set of retirement properties located around Northcote House, the mansion of Sunningdale Park. Again, access to this part of the estate is entirely private and is signposted as such.
Finally, the SANG, made up of the estate's original parkland, is owned by the Land Trust. The SANG Parklands is open for residents and members of the public to enjoy all year round.
Management of the grounds
Given the estate is entirely privately owned and has a large array of lawns, mature trees, lakes and woodlands, these all require regular management and maintenance. Residents pay their respective management companies a service charge during the year.
The SANG Parkland is maintained and paid for by the Land Trust.
Neighbourhood Watch
Sunningdale Park has its own Neighbourhood Watch scheme, which our resident members can join and leave as they wish. When signing up, residents receive details on how to join the scheme that's specific to the park.
The park maintains an active community of residents via email and WhatsApp to quickly keep in touch with relation to any suspicious activity.
